Hetzner Adds GEX63 GPU Server with NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Max-Q to Its Portfolio

Source: Hetzner press release, The Hacker News

Hetzner has expanded its GPU server portfolio with the new GEX63, a dedicated server equipped with an NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Max-Q GPU with 96 GB of GDDR7 ECC VRAM. The German hosting provider positions the machine for artificial intelligence, rendering, simulation and image and speech processing, including AI inference, fine-tuning and model training. The server pairs the GPU with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265 “Arrow Lake” CPU with 20 cores, 128 GB of DDR5 UDIMM RAM and two 1.92 TB Datacenter Edition NVMe SSDs.

European GPU capacity at a fixed price

The GEX63 slots into the portfolio between the entry level GEX45, which uses an RTX PRO 4000 SFF Blackwell with 24 GB of VRAM, and the larger GEX131, which combines the same RTX PRO 6000 GPU with a Xeon Gold platform and 256 GB of RAM. Pricing is 999 euro per month plus a one-time setup fee of the same amount, which makes serious GPU capacity accessible at a predictable fixed cost rather than per-second cloud GPU billing. Hetzner also stresses that all dedicated servers run in its own ISO 27001 certified data centers in Europe, meaning customer data stays under European jurisdiction and the GDPR.

Why this matters for your AI infrastructure plans

For European teams building AI workloads, the practical question is rarely whether the hardware exists, it is where it runs, what it costs and which law applies to the data. Regional providers like Hetzner increasingly offer an alternative to US hyperscalers for teams that need data sovereignty, predictable pricing and solid performance for training and inference. The tradeoffs are real: single-server GPU capacity does not offer the elasticity of managed cloud AI services, and you are responsible for the platform, security patching and reliability engineering around it.
